Redhead Revolution Skin Care

Every redhead knows that finding a foundation that offers both sufficient coverage and flatters our unique skin tone can be difficult. When Redhead Revolution was first dreamt up, this was was one of the main issues we wanted to address. As redheads we need a foundation that is light enough to let our freckles shine through, a foundation that works with our often sensitive skin, and one that contains SPF (cause that is simply a deal breaker ladies). Thus Redhead Revolution features 3 unique options for a redhead’s daily skin care routine:

The ‘Love your freckles’ 3-in-1 Tinted Moisturizer is a moisturizer with a hint of pigment. It’s significantly lighter than foundation, which makes it perfect for our lovely freckles. In addition to containing SPF 15, it also features aloe which nourishes your skin. The tint evens out your skin tone and acts as a light concealer for blemishes.

The Color Correcting Cream hydrates, moisturizes and comes with more pigment to cover redness and blemishes. It’s the perfect medium between a tinted moisturizer and foundation. While it is lighter than foundations (which, are generally too heavy for our freckly skin), it offers more coverage than tinted moisturizers. Bonus: it has SPF 20! CC Creams are particularly good for redheads because we tend to have more redness in our skin.

So which one is right for you? Both come with extensive moisturizing properties and SPF, which makes them perfect for everyday wear. It really comes down to what type of coverage you are looking for. For a light even tone, the tinted moisturizer is best. If you are looking for a bit more coverage for blemishes and redness, then I recommend the CC Cream. And, last but not least, for those extra pesky blemishes (pimples, I’m talking about you), our Wise Disguise concealer will cover those right up!

Check out our new CC Cream or ‘Love your freckles’ 3-in-1 Tinted Moisturizer and let us know what works best for you. 'Love your freckles' also comes in sample size!
